| 1 | Gold Medal to Ministry of Ayush for excellent performance in ‘India International Trade Fair’ | The Ministry of Ayush has been awarded the Gold Medal by the ‘India Trade Promotion Organization’ for its excellent performance in the ‘Ministries and Departments’ category of the Indian International Trade Fair. The Ministry had created an Ayush pavilion with various activities in the fair with the aim of promoting scientific evidence based Ayush treatment methods. Various curated activities and innovative presentations of the Ministry of Ayush were done by keeping scientific evidence based approach and became the centre of attraction for everyone. To promote Ayush-entrepreneurship, a total of 18 Ayush start-ups were given the opportunity by the Ministry of Ayush to exhibit with new products in the pavilion. Free Clinics of Ayush medical systems like Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy, Yoga-Naturopathy, Sowa-Rigpa were also facilitated in the Ayush Pavilion. |

| 2 | Union Minister Smriti Irani launches National Outreach Programme on Anganwadi Protocol for Divyang Children | Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani today launched the National Outreach Programme on Anganwadi Protocol for Divyang Children. The Protocol embraces a Social Model for Divyangjan Inclusive Nutrition Care. It includes screening for early disability signs, inclusion in community events, and referral support through ASHA and ANM teams. The aim of this protocol is to ensure overall improvement in children's wellbeing through early intervention, specialized support and services for infants and young children with disability, and educating and supporting families and communities to improve divyang children's participation. Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Minister said, for the first time, the Anganwadi workers will help in the screening of children for identifying any kind of disabilities. She informed that at least one lakh such children will be benefitted annually through this programme. She said, the government will make the child care socially acceptable and affordable. |

| 4 | Ministry of Power receives Special Appreciation Medal for Excellence in Display at IITF 2023 | The Ministry of Power, Government of India has been awarded the Special Appreciation Medal for Excellence in Display, at India International Trade Fair 2023, which has been held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi during November 14 - 27, 2023. The Ministry received the award for the Power Pavilion set up by it at 42nd edition of the IITF. The Pavilion was set up under the umbrella of the Ministry of Power, with NTPC as the nodal agency and with contribution from 11 other PSUs under the Ministry. The Pavilion was inaugurated by the Union Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy Shri R. K. Singh, on November 14, 2023. The pavilion aimed to present the key initiatives in the power sector before the domestic and international industry and to also improve public awareness and participation in the schemes and policies of the government. | 8 | Defence Minister Rajnath Singh unveils crest of Project 15B stealth guided missile destroyer Imphal | Defence Minister Rajnath Singh unveiled the crest of Project 15B stealth guided missile destroyer Yard 12706 (Imphal), today in New Delhi, along with Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh. According to the Defence Ministry, the crest design depicts the Kangla Palace on the left and ‘Kangla-Sa’ on the right. The Kangla Palace is an important historical and archaeological site of Manipur. The ‘Kangla-Sa’ is a mythical being from Manipur history, with a dragon’s head and lion’s body. It is symbolic of the protector of its people and is the state emblem of Manipur. The Ministry said it serves as a tribute to the sacrifice made by the people of Manipur towards India’s independence, sovereignty, and security. It added that the ship is a hallmark of indigenous shipbuilding and is amongst the most technologically advanced warships in the world. |
