National Testing Agency (NTA) will start releasing admit cards for Phase One of Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2022 from 6 pm today.

The NTA yesterday released the city intimation slip for the CUET for admission to undergraduate programmes. The slip, which carries a unique date sheet along with the name of the city allotted to a candidate, can be downloaded from the official CUET-UG website

by entering one’s application number and date of birth. A unique date sheet for every aspirant is necessary since all candidates have applied for 54,555 unique combinations of subjects across 90 universities under CUET-UG. The City Intimation Slip for each candidate has information relating to the Subjects /Language /Medium offered in Slot 1 and Slot 2 as well as the date and City allotted.

Around 60 StartUps have registered with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), since the unlocking of the Indian Space sector recently by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and quite a few of them are dealing with projects related to Space debris management.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will inaugurate the first-ever ‘Artificial Intelligence in Defence’ (AIDef) symposium and exhibition, organised by the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, in New Delhi today. The event will feature an exhibition to showcase the cutting-edge AI-enabled solutions developed by the Services, research organisations, industry and start-ups and innovators and the launch of AI products for the market. Defence Secretary Ajay Kumar said that 75 newly-developed AI products/technologies, having applications in defence, will be launched, as part of the celebrations marking 75 years of Independence ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and to promote ‘Aatmanirbharta’ initiative in Defence. The products are in the domains of automation/unmanned/robotics systems, cyber security, human behaviour analysis, intelligent monitoring system, logistics and supply chain management, and Operational Data Analytics.

Besides the 75 products being launched, another 100 are in various stages of development.

The fourth phase of Sea Trials for Indigenous Aircraft Carrier - Vikrant has been successfully completed during which integrated trials of the majority of equipment and systems onboard were undertaken. Defence Ministry said, the ship’s delivery is being targeted by the end of this month, followed by commissioning of the ship in August this year to commemorate Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main Result 2022. The JEE Mains Result for the Session 1 Exams is now available online for students to check on the official website for the Joint Entrance Examination on

The JEE Main Result has been declared after NTA released the JEE Main Final Answer Key for the Session 1 Papers of B.Arch, B.Planning, B.E, and B.Tech. The final answer keys were formulated by NTA after candidates raised objections to the provisional answer keys from July 2 to 4, 2022. The scorecard has been released for the JEE Mains 2022 Paper 1.

An estimate of over 7 lakh students were reported to have appeared for the Session 1 Exams in June.

National Monuments Authority has recommended two sites associated with architect of the Indian Constitution Babsaheb Ambedkar to be declared as Monuments of National importance.

Culture Ministry said, Sankalp Bhumi Banyan tree campus in Vadodara, where Dr. Ambedkar had taken a resolve to eradicate untouchability on 23th September, 1917 be declared as Monument of National Importance.

This place is more than hundred years old and a witness to the beginning of social respect revolution heralded by Dr. Ambedkar.

Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Thakur on Friday launched revised schemes of Cash Awards, National Welfare and Pension to sportspersons, Web Portal for Schemes of Department of Sports and National Sports Development Fund website in New Delhi.

National Health Authority (NHA) will be hosting its first ever open-to-all hackathon series to drive ideation and innovations around the different building blocks in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) ecosystem.

The series will begin with a hackathon - ‘Round 1: Kickstarting Unified Health Interface (UHI)’ slated for 14th to 17th July 2022.

The hackathon shall be focussed on the Unified Health Interface (UHI) and would aim at mobilising the health start-up ecosystem in India and bringing together individuals and organisations to develop solutions through UHI.

The hackathon will provide an excellent opportunity for innovators, data experts and developers from all over the world to collaborate and build innovative solutions for providing access to digital health services through UHI.
