3 Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander records 70 degrees Celsius on moon surface

ISRO on 27 August released a graph of the temperature variation on the lunar surface and a senior scientist of the space agency has expressed surprise over the high temperature recorded on the Moon.

The space agency shared an update saying that Chandra's Surface Thermophysical Experiment (ChaSTE) payload onboard Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander measured the temperature profile of the lunar topsoil around the pole to understand the thermal behaviour of the Moon's surface.

5 Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority introduces e-billing system for online payment

Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) introduced today, an e-billing system for the online payment of service charges to the tenants and residents of MHADA of all Divisional Circles, including Konkan, Pune, Nagpur, and Amravati. MHADA chairman and Chief executive officer Sanjeev Jaiswal inaugurated the system at Bandra in Mumbai.

Mr Jaiswal informed that the e-billing system also facilitates an online payment facility for shop owners in all divisional circles. Along with this, mailboxes have also been made available on the e-billing website for any complaints regarding the payment of service charges, he added.

6 CM Yogi to inaugurate Directorate of Command, Control Center of Traffic soon

In a bid to make cities of Uttar Pradesh jam-free, the Yogi government is going to set up a Central Command and Control Center at the Police Headquarters (Signature Building) to address the issue of traffic jams in the major cities of the state.

7 Maharashtra tops in attracting FDI in 1st quarter of current FY

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said the state secured the top rank in attracting Foreign Direct Investment worth Rs 36,634 crore which is more than the sum of investment received by Delhi, Karnataka and Telangana in the first quarter of FY 2023-24.
