| 1 | UAE Pledges $10M to Boost Disaster Resilience in Asia-Pacific | The UAE has announced a 10 million US dollars contribution to strengthen community resilience against natural disasters across Asia and the Pacific. The initiative, launched through the UAE Aid Agency, will support Emirates Nature- WWF in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to implement the “Community Resilience to Natural Disasters Programme.” The announcement was made under the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the 2025 IUCN World Conservation Congress in Abu Dhabi. The joint programme, developed by WWF and the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), seeks to harness nature-based solutions to help communities prepare for and adapt to natural hazards while promoting sustainable livelihoods. The UAE’s funding will support the programme’s first phase, designed to attract additional co-financing from public and private sector partners to ensure long-term sustainability and regional expansion.Dr. Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri, Chairman of the UAE Aid Agency, said the initiative reflects the UAE’s global commitment to proactive resilience and preventive action. Emirates Nature-WWF Director General Laila Mostafa Abdullatif said the programme underscores the UAE’s belief that “resilience begins within communities,” while WWF International Director-General Kirsten Schuijt described nature as “one of humanity’s strongest allies in reducing disaster risk.” |

Addressing the event, Mr Meghwal said that this initiative aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in government litigation management. Talking to the media, Mr Meghwal said that through this dashboard, the government has developed an information mechanism that provides details of all cases scheduled to be heard in the next seven days in the Supreme Court, High Courts, or any other courts involving various ministries of the Government of India. He also added that officers and ministers can monitor this information directly through their dashboard from their office and receive updates on the upcoming cases in the following week. |

| 3 | India-Mongolia Sign 10 MoUs to Boost Ties in Heritage, Minerals And Digital Solutions | India and Mongolia today inked ten MoUs following bilateral and delegation level between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa in New Delhi. The MoUs are for cooperation in Humanitarian aid, restoration of heritage site in Mongolia, cooperation in immigration, geology and mineral resources, promotion of Cooperatives, and sharing of digital solutions. | 9 | Retail Inflation Drops to 1.54% in September, Lowest Since 2017 | Country’s retail inflation moderated to eight year low of 1.54 per cent in September this year, down from 2.07 percent recorded in August 2025. According to data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, it is the lowest year-on-year inflation rate after June 2017. Meanwhile, inflation in rural areas softened to 1.07 percent and at 2.04 percent in urban regions. The food inflation rate, based on the All India Consumer Food Price Index, remained negative for the fourth consecutive month, slipping further into deflation at 2.28 per cent in September, the lowest since December 2018. Corresponding food inflation rate for rural areas also decelerated to 2.17 percent while urban areas also witnessed deflation, standing at 2.47 percent during last month. According to the Ministry, the decline in headline inflation and food inflation during the month of September is mainly attributed to favorable base effect and to decline in the prices of vegetables, oil, fruits, pulses and cereal. |

| 10 | Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0 to be held from November 1 to 30 | The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) will launch the fourth edition of its Nationwide Digital Life Certificate (DLC) Campaign from November 1 to 30, said the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions on Wednesday. Under existing rules, pensioners are required to submit a Life Certificate every November to ensure continuation of their pension. The previous DLC Campaign 3.0, held in November 2024 across 845 cities, recorded 1.62 crore submissions. The Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0, aimed at reaching pensioners in even the remotest corners of the country, will see a major scale-up this year, covering more than 1,850 districts, cities, and towns across over 2,500 camp locations. |
