Taking to X (former Twitter), RBI said," We are happy to announce that Governor Shaktikanta Das has been rated “A " in the Global Finance Central Banker Report Cards 2023. Das has been placed at the top of the list of three central bank governors who have been rated A ."

Bajaj Allianz Life has launched a unique fund proposition in the ULIP segment. Bajaj Allianz Life’s Dynamic Asset Allocation Fund offers customers the opportunity to allocate between equity and debt, dynamically. The benchmark index is Crisil Dynamic Asset Allocation Index (45% Equity, 45% Debt, and 10% Liquid).

The asset allocation (between debt and equity) of the fund will be more dynamic/active in nature. It is based on an in-house quantitative model with limited qualitative input from the fund manager and aims to optimize risk return. This investment strategy will help to minimize volatility and downside risk during market corrections.

3 Indian-origin Tharman Shanmugaratnam wins Singapore's presidential election

Indian-origin Singapore economist Tharman Shanmugaratnam has won the Presidential election in the country. Tharman Shanmugaratnam defeated two contenders of Chinese origin in the country's first contested presidential polls since 2011.

In the presidential elections, Tharman Shanmugaratnam secured 70.4 per cent votes. The other contenders – Ng Kok Song and Tan Kin Lian – who contested against Tharman Shanmugaratnam bagged 15.7 per cent and 13.88 per cent votes, respectively.

4 Madhavan appointed president of FTII Society

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on Friday appointed actor R Madhavan as the president of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) Society and chairperson of the governing council.

The tenure of former president director Shekhar Kapur ended on 3 March, 2023.

“Mr R Madhvan has been appointed the President of FTII Society and Chairman of the Governing Council. The decision has been formally conveyed to us by the Ministry,” said FTII registrar Sayyid Rabeehashmi.

The government on Friday launched a new scheme called ‘mera bill mera adhikaar’ to encourage consumers to insist on invoices at the time of purchase.

The scheme introduced in Haryana, Assam, Gujarat and the union territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Puducherry offers consumers a chance to win ₹1 crore, ₹10 lakh and ₹10,000 as incentive.

Inception, a unit of Abu Dhabi AI company G42, has released 'Jais', the world's most advanced Arabic large language model . Jais is a bilingual Arabic-English model that has been trained on a massive dataset of text and code. It can be used for a variety of tasks, such as machine translation, text summarization, and question answering.It was trained on the Condor Galaxy, the world's largest AI supercomputer, using 116 billion Arabic tokens and 279 billion English tokens. It is also open-source, which means that anyone can use it or contribute to its development. Jais is available to download on the Hugging Face machine learning platform.

7 Anti-cancer jab taking 7 minutes to administer rolled out in England

An anti-cancer jab that can cut down treatment time for some by three quarters has been rolled out by National Health Service (NHS) England, the U.K.'s publicly funded healthcare system.
