3 | AP Moller-Maersk Reveals World’s Largest Methanol-Powered Container Ship | AP Moller-Maersk has revealed the Ane Maersk, the world’s largest Ship that can run on the green hydrogen derivative. It was named after Ane Maersk Mc-Kinney Uggla, Chairman of the Parent Company AP Moller Holding. It can carry 8 times more containers than Danish Logistics Company’s Laura Maersk, which became the world’s first methanol dual-fuel container ship when it was launched in September 2023. The Ane Maersk will begin its first voyage on 9th Feb from Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard in Ulsan, South Korea, where it was constructed, to Ningbo, China. It will then head to Malaysia, followed by Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Morocco, the UK, France, Belgium and Germany. |

The company has received approval from the US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to manufacture and market Lacosamide Tablets in multiple strengths, the drug firm said in a statement. Lacosamide is indicated to treat partial-onset seizures. It is also used with other medicines to treat primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures. The company said it will manufacture the product at the group's formulation manufacturing facility in Moraiya, Ahmedabad. |

7 | Rohan Bopanna becomes oldest man to win Grand Slam, clinches doubles title with Matthew Ebden | Rohan Bopanna etched his name in the books of history after becoming the oldest man to win a Grand Slam title. At the age of 43, Bopanna won the men’s doubles title along with Australia's Matthew Ebden after beating the Italian pair of Simone Boleli and Andrea Vavassori 7-6 (7-0), 7-5 on Saturday, January 27 at the Rod Laver Arena. Bopanna broke the record of Jean-Julien Rojer, who won the French Open men’s doubles title alongside Marcelo Arevola at the age of 40 years and 270 days. 8 | IRB Infrastructure Trust wins Rs 1,720 crore arbitration award | Yedeshi Aurangabad Tollway Ltd (YATL), a special purpose vehicle of IRB Infrastructure Trust, has won an arbitration award of Rs 1,720 crore for a highway project, a statement said on Sunday. The YATL had initiated arbitration proceedings against the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) after the authority disputed the company's claim for the extension of the concession period by 870 days and compensation of Rs 1,751 crore, the statement said. IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd is the sponsor of IRB Infrastructure Trust. IRB was the EPC contractor for YATL and continues to be the project manager for YATL. |
